I've spent the last couple of months thinking through this very problem and am really excited to see someone moving forward with it. I'm in Portland, OR, a city of books, and I find the waiting list at the public library is often quite long. I know there are people 0 maybe even just a couple of blocks away - who have books I am looking for.

If this tool was combined with some basic geolocation data so I could actually build new relationships through books, that would be awesome. Any idea of any other implementations of this anywhere else?
